  • Dr. Naweed Syed says:

A great academic leader – and an even better human being. In this lecture, I thoroughly enjoyed Dr. Noseworthy’s perspective on life, death and living. It is difficult to talk about death – especially of the loved ones – Dr. Noseworthy did it so gracefully and realistically that it brought tears in everyone’s eye – except him. He was funny, frank, open and realistic. His perspective on our healthcare system was refreshing – made me realize that while I may complain about a tight shoe – I must not forget those who do not have feet. He made us realize that life is too precious and should be lived and spent principally to call the day a success. I would like to thank the University Senate, the board and the faculty of medicine for this wonderful opportunity to listen to – one of our own great minds.
